Dr. Sharroky Hollie
Executive Director
Dr. Sharroky Hollie is a national educator who provides professional development to thousands of educators in the area of cultural responsiveness.
In 2003, he and two colleagues founded the Culture and Language Academy of Success, a laboratory school that demonstrated the principles of cultural responsiveness in an exemplary school-wide model, which operated until 2013.

Meet The Team
Our advisers have helped train staff all across the nation. They are our secret weapon and seasoned professionals, who have been working in the area of cultural responsiveness from first-hand experience, in the classroom, and have shaped the way many teachers teach CLR in their classrooms.
Carrie Eicher has been an educator and staff developer for the past 17 years, serving diverse communities of students and staff. She holds a K-6 teaching degree, a Master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction, specializing in Arts Integration, as well as a K-12 principal license from Saint Mary's University.
Bethany Pottratz-Ocar received her Master’s in Education from the University of Wisconsin and has taught Language Arts for over 35 years in every grade level from sixth to college. She serves as a teacher and instructional coach for the Hopkins School District in Minnesota and brings her continued CLR journey from her classroom to her coaching.
Dr. LeDominique Hubbard is a distinguished transformational leader with a Doctorate in Educational Practice, focusing on Social Justice, from the University of Missouri-St. Louis. She also holds dual bachelor's degrees in Early Childhood and Elementary Education and two master’s degrees in Classroom Teaching and Elementary Administration from Missouri Baptist University.
Felicia received her Master’s In Education from Harvard University, where she first developed her passion for equity and anti-racist education. She has taught secondary Language Arts for over 25 years, and she served as a leader in the national AP English Language and Composition exam scoring for 15 years
Jen is a passionate and accomplished educator with extensive experience in the Mukilteo School District, located in the state of Washington. Throughout her career, Jen has served in multiple roles, including Instructional Coach, Intermediate Teacher, and Interventionist. She is a National Board-Certified Teacher, the district coordinator for Multilingual Summer School, and leads her school's Equity Team.
Sonji Owens is a former elementary school educator. She retired from the Los Angeles Unified School District with 39 years of service. She holds a degree in Liberal Studies from California State University Dominguez Hills
Lisa Sahasrabudhe is a lifelong educator committed to anti-racist, inclusive, and culturally responsive education. Her career has spanned 37 years, during which she has served as a classroom teacher, K-12 instructional coach, elementary school principal, and Equity and Diversity Officer for the Ithaca City School District, in Ithaca NY.
Lori Fredlund recently retired after spending 35 years as a public school educator. It was a great privilege and honor for her to facilitate students’ growth as a classroom teacher for the majority of that time. In addition, she supported teachers as an Instructional Coach and Intervention Coordinator and a district curricular and professional development leader.
