CLR is a way of being, not a set of activities. That means, anything in the personal and academic realm can be made CLR, including academic vocabulary, one of the main gatekeepers for our students’ academic success. Check out our digital Personal Thesaurus for tier 2 words (loosely translated, words with synonyms) and different Personal Dictionary templates you can use for tier 3 words (words that have a precise definition and are typically content dependent).
