When we begin our CLR journey we often use CLR activities as our first point of entry into lesson planning. While that is a great starting point, the way to be ultimately culturally and linguistically responsive to our students is to plan strategically with cultural behaviors at the forefront. This slide deck provides support for what activities to use in your planning that will best VABB our students’ existing cultural and linguistic assets, especially those who are underserved by traditional school culture.
