Culturally and Linguistically Responsive Teaching
About Course
The intention of this book study is to support a common language and understanding for the basic work of Cultural and Linguistic Responsiveness. Facilitated by a member of the CLR Professional Learning Team.
This four-session virtual book study of 90 minutes each supports educators through interactive engagement with and about the text in their understanding of the nuance of the work, developing a common language, considering practical applications, and dispelling common misconceptions, all while building a community among the participants. This is an ideal program for any team that wants to “go slow to go fast.”
The book study serves full staff, administrators, equity leaders, curriculum and instruction teams, or any other group looking to learn more. It can be done before or after the Professional Learning series with Dr. Hollie.
