I have a summer challenge for you. Taking pictures that reflect some type of cultural dynamic in regards to the rings of culture, looking for extremes in particular. In May, I traveled like crazy. I was literally on plane everyday, Monday through Friday for the first 3 weeks of May. Not advisable on any level. What I noticed at some point were the cultural extremes of the different places – Hartford, Connecticut compared to Las Cruces, New Mexico, Delta Airlines compared to Southwest Airlines, or Waffle House in Raleigh, North Carolina compared to the Netflix Comedy Fest in Hollywood with Trevar Noah. So, I started taking pictures and mulling over the culture difference and I plan to do it for the entire summer. Join me. Send your pix directly to info@culturallyresponsive.org and we will feature via social media or CLR+.
